In the card game Coup, you try to be the last player standing in a classic power struggle! You're the head of a family in a corrupt futuristic city, and to stay on top you'll have to manipulate, bluff, and bribe. Your goal is to strip your rivals of their influence, forcing them into exile. Only one can rule.
Coup is unique for the simplicity and depth of its bluffing mechanic. While you're only dealt two cards at the start of the round, you're fully allowed to lie and say you have any of the five types of cards in the deck. Players can call you on your bluff, but risk losing their influence if you happen to be telling the truth.
